I'm Ben, an accomplished front-end developer with over 3 years of experience crafting responsive websites for fast-growing startups in London. I have contributed to a diverse range of projects, including an e-learning platform teaching personal finance and a SaaS case management system for universities. Recently, I played a key role in driving the global expansion of a renowned FinTech unicorn based in London.
Currently, I work in Sky's global data team, where I contribute to the development of a cutting-edge platform designed to unify Sky's data for enhanced analytics and insights. Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to building scalable websites that cater to both content growth and international audiences across multiple languages. What I do:
UI front-end development for DataHub: Design and maintain the user interface for DataHub, Sky's internal metadata platform, ensuring smooth data management and accessibility for various teams across Sky's OTT products.
Team collaboration for exceptional UX: Work closely with UI/UX designers, data engineers, and data scientists to deliver outstanding user experiences, seamlessly integrating data pipelines, models, and analytics into the DataHub platform.
Advocating front-end best practices: Implement and champion best practices in front-end development, emphasizing code maintainability, reusability, and performance optimization, keeping the platform scalable and sustainable as Sky's data needs grow.
